Stephen Mangino

Stephen Mangino serves as the Chief of the Training and Exercises Division at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency since April 2012. Prior experience includes roles such as Deputy Chief of the Operational Support J3/J7 Division at the DoD from August 2005 to April 2012 and Principal Program Manager at OUSD(AT&L)/NCB from January 2002 to August 2005. Earlier positions involve Program Manager at DTRA/RD/TDAN, Co-Director of Operations at SAIC, and Research Associate at Boston College. Stephen's career began as a Geophysicist at the US Air Force Geophysics Laboratory. Academic credentials include a PhD in Seismology from the University of Cambridge, an MA in Earth Sciences from Binghamton University, and a BS in Geology from the State University of New York at Fredonia. Additionally, Stephen is pursuing Program Management III training at the Defense Acquisition University.
