Desmond Agbortabi

Desmond Agbortabi has been working in the cyber security field since 2015. Desmond'sfirst role was as a Customer Service Representative at Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. in 2015. In 2016, they worked as an Internet Security Specialist at InComm, where they monitored traffic, blocked traffic, and configured firewalls. In 2017, they were a Scan Vulnerability and DLP Analyst at Sysnet Global Solutions. In 2018, they worked as a Cyber Security Analyst at Unisys. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Cyber Security Threat Analyst at Worldpay, where they provided situational awareness of the cyber threat landscape, conducted threat hunting, and recommended remediation actions. Currently, they are a Cyber Security Engineer at DefenseStorm.

Desmond Agbortabi attended Salisbury University from 2009 to 2010, where they studied Business and Personal/Financial Services Marketing Operations. Desmond then attended Georgia Gwinnett College from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance, General. Additionally, they obtained two certifications from LogRhythm in November 2018: Logrhythm Security Analyst Level 1 Exam 7.3 and Logrhythm platform Admin Certification.
