Marc Scarpa

Marc Scarpa is an accomplished media executive with extensive experience in production and strategic development across various platforms. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DeFiance Media since January 2018, Marc leads a company dedicated to broadcasting innovative global news and entertainment focused on entrepreneurial success. Previous roles include serving on the advisory board for GEM Global Environment Media, contributing to the evolution of sustainable media narratives, and acting as Executive Producer for Simplynew, where Marc was at the forefront of live participatory programming. Marc's notable positions also encompass being a partner at Esports Entry Advisory, overseeing production at YouTube and Ogilvy, and advising early-stage media and technology start-ups at Redwood Partners. An early career included founding Jumpcut, producing shows for CNET TV, and working on Oscar-winning films at Orion Pictures. Marc holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts.
