Jaan Hein

Jaan Hein is a seasoned professional in government programs and international relations, currently serving as the VP of Government Programs at DefSecIntel Solutions since September 2018. Prior to this role, Jaan Hein held the position of Director of Government Programs at Defendec Ltd from August 2016 to September 2018. Jaan's extensive diplomatic experience includes serving as Ambassador to Astana with accreditation to Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan from August 2011 to May 2014, and holding multiple ambassadorships in Kiev, Chisinau, and Tbilisi, along with a directorial role for Eastern Europe and Central Asia at the MFA of Estonia from March 2004 to August 2011. Jaan's diplomatic career began as Charge d’Affaires in Prague from February 2000 to January 2004. Educational credentials include studies at Stanford University’s Hoover Institute, Geneva Graduate Institute, Leibniz Institute of European History, and St. Petersburg State University.
