Steven Lee

Steven Lee is a Senior Operations Planning Analyst at DEFTEC Corporation since 2022, providing Counter Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) data analytics support. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and CEO of L2 Sports Group LLC from 2020-2021. From 2019-2020, Steven was the Founder and Director of HARD Lax Elite, where they managed all phases of a competitive youth club lacrosse program in the Mid-Atlantic region. During this time, they were also the Head Coach of Boys' Lacrosse and Boys' JV Lacrosse at St. Paul VI Catholic High School. From 2016-2019, Steven was the Founder and Director of School of HARD Lax, a private lacrosse coaching operation in the greater Washington, DC, metropolitan area. In 2015, they were a Professor of Joint Maritime Operations at the Naval War College and a Senior Planning Analyst at Amyx, Inc. From 2015-2013, Steven was a Cooperative Threat Reduction Advisory and Assistance Services Support, Senior Defense Analyst, Program Management Officer, and Senior Defense Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton. Steven was a Joint Strategic Plans and Policy Officer for the Asia-Pacific Region at The Joint Staff from 2013-2012, and a Student at the National War College at the National Defense University from 2012-2015.

Steven Lee's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in General Science from the United States Naval Academy, obtained between 1989 and 1993. Steven then obtained a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College between 2001 and 2002. In 2004, they attended the Africa Center for Strategic Studies (Centre d’Études Stratégiques de l’Afrique) for African Security Studies. Between 2008 and 2009, they studied Defense, Security and Foreign Policy at The Brookings Institution in Washington, DC, and in 2009, they studied International Politics at the University of Oxford. In 2012 and 2013, they obtained a Master of Science in National Security Strategy from the National War College. In 2017, they attended the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies for Regional Studies (U.S., Canadian, Foreign). Additionally, they have a certification as a Men's Game Level 3 Coach from US Lacrosse.
