Mariah Dickinson

Mariah Dickinson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management and education. Currently serving as VP of Site Operations and previously as Sr. Director of Marketing and Communications at Defy Ventures, Mariah has dedicated efforts to transforming the lives of currently and formerly incarcerated individuals through entrepreneurship. Earlier roles at Defy Ventures included Director of Marketing and Communications and Director of Development and Marketing. Prior to this, experience includes contractor positions at DARPA, serving both the Microsystems Technology Office and the Director's Office, and as Deputy Director at The Future Project, which focuses on youth development. Mariah also worked as a Special Education Teacher with Teach For America. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in International Studies from American University and a study in Chinese Language at Peking University as a David L. Boren Scholarship recipient.
