Jeffrey Smith

Jeffrey Smith has worked in a variety of roles in the biotechnology and manufacturing industry since 2014. Jeffrey began their career as a Boat Mechanic at Potomac Marina in 2014, followed by a role as a Pilot Production Process Technician at Medimmune in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Process Development Associate I at Novavax. In 2018, they worked as a Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Associate at GlaxoSmithKline Pharma GmbH and an Associate II, Bioprocess R&D at Novavax. In 2019, they were a Senior Associate Scientist and an Associate Scientist III at REGENXBIO Inc. In 2021, they were a Scientist at Arcellx, Inc. and is currently a Senior Scientist at Deka Biosciences, Inc.

Jeffrey Smith obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Systems Engineering - Bioprocessing from Virginia Tech in 2013. Jeffrey then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Project Management from Liberty University in 2018. In 2019, they completed their Masters of Science in Biotechnology - Drug Discovery from John Hopkins.
