Dr.-Ing. Matthias Schindler

Dr.-Ing. Matthias Schindler has extensive experience in IT management and digitalization across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of IT Management Data Analytics, Sales & Communication at DekaBank since January 2025, previous roles include Chief Digital Officer and Chief Information Officer at Andreas Schmid Group, where a focus on digitalization, innovation, and corporate venture capital was prominent. Prior to that, Dr.-Ing. Matthias Schindler held multiple positions at BMW Group from March 2014 to December 2021, including Head of Artificial Intelligence and Cluster Manager, contributing significantly to data analytics and the integration of artificial intelligence in production processes. Academic foundations include a Dr.-Ing. from the University of Stuttgart and a Master of Science from the Technical University of Munich, complemented by various assistant and internship roles in research and engineering.
