Deyci Ramirez

Deyci Ramirez, M.S.Ed, serves as the Director of the Area Health Education Center and an instructor at Northern Illinois University, where responsibilities include teaching University 101-First Year College Experience, overseeing admissions processes as a CHANCE Counselor, and enhancing Latino recruitment as an Admissions Counselor. Deyci holds multiple leadership positions, including President and Vice President of the Board of Education for DeKalb CUSD428, and has provided advisory roles for various multicultural fraternities. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration and Foundations with a focus on Leadership, Equity, and Inquiry at Illinois State University, Deyci's academic credentials include a master's degree from Northern Illinois University and dual bachelor's degrees in Spanish Language and Literature, as well as Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology.
