Nick Forshteyn has had an extensive career in the technology industry, beginning with their role as a Technical Consultant at Dell Associate in 2015. Nick then moved to Unisys as a Microsoft Consultant and then to Westpac as an Infrastructure Lead in 2014. In 2016, they joined Dell EMC as a Systems Integration Senior Advisor and then moved to Gridware Cybersecurity as a Business Development Manager in 2017. In 2018, they were a Senior Cloud Architect at Thales, followed by a Security Architect role at AustralianSuper in 2021. Nick then joined DekkoSecure as Chief Information Security Officer in 2021 and is currently an Information Security Architect at Noosa Cyber Consulting, specialising in Post Incident investigation of cyber security incidents, risk assessment of information systems, access management and smart single sign-on/multi-factor authentication. In 2022, they will become a Blockchain Security Architect at Crypto.com.
Nick Forshteyn has a Master of Information Systems Security from Charles Sturt University, obtained in 2019. Nick also has a Diploma of Information Technology from Canberra Institute of Technology, obtained in 2007. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from various institutions, including ISACA, Microsoft, Citrix, and PECB.
