Kira Martz

Kira Martz is an experienced education professional with a strong background in early childhood education. Currently serving as the Education Coordinator at Delaware County Intermediate Unit since November 2021, Kira supports the Supervisor of Early Childhood Education Programs and oversees the delivery of various federal and state programs. Previous roles include Head Start Pre-K Teacher at The School District of Philadelphia and a series of positions within District of Columbia Public Schools, including Early Childhood Educator and Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. Kira has contributed to curriculum development for in-home preschool centers and EdTech companies and has experience in implementing educational models and providing specialized support to at-risk youth. Kira holds multiple master's degrees in Early Childhood Special Education and Special Education from The George Washington University, as well as a BA in Psychology from Allegheny College.
