Alison McDonough

School Psychologist, Adult Prison Education at Delaware Department of Education

Alison McDonough, PsyD, BCB, is a licensed psychologist with extensive experience in educational and psychosocial settings. Currently serving as a School Psychologist for Adult Prison Education at the Delaware Department of Education, Alison conducts psychoeducational evaluations for incarcerated individuals pursuing high school diplomas. As Director of Psychosocial Programs at The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation since 2007, Alison has been instrumental in developing support and resources for young cancer patients and their families. Alison's previous roles include positions at Red Clay Consolidated School District and the Delaware Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services, as well as co-founding Associates in Neuropsychology and Behavioral Health, where psychological assessments and biofeedback services were offered. Alison earned a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from Widener University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Delaware.
