Alex Hannah has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alex is currently serving as the Chief of Marketing & Creative Services at the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control. Prior to this role, they worked as the Marketing Director for the Delaware State Parks.

Before joining the Delaware Department of Natural Resources, Alex worked at MissionSquare Retirement for a significant period of time. Alex held various leadership positions, including Managing Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, Managing Vice President, Marketing & Communications, and Vice President, Marketing Communications & Education.

In these roles, Alex was responsible for brand management, strategic leadership, marketing acquisition, and retention of public-sector plan sponsors and employees. Alex successfully led the implementation of a digital marketing capability and launched numerous industry-first initiatives. Alex also played a crucial role in growing participant accounts and assets under management through innovative educational materials and communications.

Alex also gained experience at Hallmark Cards as a Marketing Strategist & Client Supervisor and at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. as an Account Marketing Manager. Alex started their career at McCann Worldgroup as an Assistant Account Executive.

Alex Hannah (he/him) has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Advertising from Southern Methodist University, with minors in Gender Studies and History. Alex also pursued Leadership Education at Harvard Business School in their General Management Program. In addition, Alex has obtained certifications in Burke Qualitative Research Training from Burke, Inc. and Digital Marketing Analytics from MIT Sloan Executive Education.
