Michael O. has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in midstream operations and asset integrity. Michael most recently served as the SVP and Head of Operations for Midstream Assets at Delek US Holdings, Inc., where they were responsible for crude oil gathering and processing, natural gas processing, and terminals. Prior to this role, they held positions as the Vice President of Technical Services and Vice President of Asset Integrity & Reliability for Midstream Assets at Delek US. Michael has also worked at Covestro as the Plant Manager for BPA/PCF Manufacturing and as the Global Inspection/MI Manager, where they led mechanical integrity programs and strategies for multiple manufacturing sites across various regions. Michael has previous experience with Saudi Aramco and Total S.A., specializing in materials and corrosion engineering. Michael started their career with various roles at KPMG, Universal Steels, and NNPC, primarily focused on analysis, QA/QC engineering, and corrosion engineering. Michael also worked as an Assistant Professor at Kennesaw State University.

Michael O. has a diverse education history. Michael obtained a Certificate in Specialization in Strategy from Harvard Business School Online in 2021. In 2020, they also completed the HBX CORe program at Harvard Business School Online, focusing on Business/Managerial Economics/Strategy Execution. Additionally, Michael has a Ph.D. in Quality Systems (Technology Management) from Indiana State University, an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tulsa, and a B.Eng in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Akure.
