Jon Schor

Jon studied Biology and Chemistry at Caltech and has a PhD in Neuroscience from UCSF. He’s currently finishing up his final year of med school as part of the MD/PhD program at UCSF.

Jon has always loved the intersection between basic science and clinical medicine. As a grad student, he developed experimental models to better understand the mechanism of deep brain stimulation for Parkinson’s Disease, combining neurobiology with electrical engineering and coding. While a med student, he conceived and coded digital health mobile apps, and previously worked in the deep learning health space at Rad AI. For Jon, data science at Delfina represents the perfect combination of intellectually stimulating problems and clinically actionable results.
