Tillmann Klein

Tillmann Klein is a Professor of Building Product Innovation at Technische Universiteit Delft since January 2013 and serves as Editor in Chief for the Journal of Facade Design and Engineering, focusing on advancements in facade design and building technologies. Klein was a Guest Professor of Design and Building Envelopes at the Technical University of Munich from April 2015 to March 2018, where an interdisciplinary approach to architecture was emphasized. Additionally, Klein was the Managing Director at imagine envelope bv facade consulting from January 2008 to January 2016. Klein holds a Ph.D. in Integral Facade Construction from Delft University of Technology, a Meisterschueler degree from Kunstakademie Duesseldorf, and a Dipl.-Ing. in Architecture from RWTH Aachen University.
