Thijs Van de Velde

Thijs Van de Velde is an experienced professional with a strong background in software engineering and technical leadership. Currently serving as Team Lead at Deliverect since January 2022, Thijs has also held positions as a Software Engineer and Sprint Lead. Prior experience includes a role as Technical Lead at Applied Maths, where contributions were made to applications for DNA research, specifically in the development of a platform for health sector applications. Thijs was a Technical & Innovation Consultant at the AIM from March 2010 to October 2016, focusing on new technologies and workflow optimization, and played a key role as Project Marketeer in the startup phase of the organization. Thijs began involvement in the Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen organization in various leadership roles from 2001 to 2011. Thijs holds a degree in Commercial Engineering, specializing in Operations Management, from Ghent University (2004-2009).
