Duncan Smith

Duncan Smith is a Senior Engineering Manager at Deliveroo since July 2021, with prior experience as Head of Development at Modulr from November 2018 to March 2021. Duncan served as Software Development Manager at Amazon from February 2015 to October 2018 and as Technical Manager at Skyscanner between March 2013 and November 2014. An IT Manager at Tesco Bank from May 2010 to February 2013, Duncan was responsible for the IT delivery of the Tesco Compare website. As Practice Lead for Enterprise Applications at Intergen from February 2006 to March 2010, Duncan led a team of 15 to ensure the successful delivery of multi-disciplined enterprise projects. Earlier roles included Lead Developer positions at LawWare Ltd from October 2003 to October 2005 and Coherence Ltd from 2000 to 2003. Duncan holds a BSc in Computing from Edinburgh Napier University, earned between 1995 and 2000, and completed education at Strathallan School from 1990 to 1995.
