Toon Coenen

Toon Coenen is a professional with extensive experience in business development and materials science, currently serving as the VP of Business Development Materials at Delmic since January 2015. Coenen has held multiple roles at Delmic, including Director of Materials Science and Business Unit Owner, managing the cathodoluminescence solutions business unit. Responsibilities have included overseeing product management and application teams. From January 2016 to January 2024, Coenen worked at AMOLF as a researcher focusing on novel cathodoluminescence techniques. Prior experience also includes postdoctoral research and PhD studies at AMOLF and a visiting scientist role at Stanford University. Coenen holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry & Physics from Utrecht University and a Bachelor’s degree in Science from University College Utrecht.
