Emma Cox

Emma is Managing Partner of Deloitte Private in the UK and sits on the firm's Executive. The Deloitte Private business is a key part of Deloitte, serving clients across the 5 Private segments: Private Equity, Family-run & Owner-Managed, Family Office & HNWI, Partnerships and High Growth.

In addition to her firm-wide Deloitte Private role, Emma leads the Deloitte Private Audit & Assurance business, a practice of 800 people delivering audit and assurance services to privately-owned businesses. Emma has herself specialised for the last 15 years in providing audit and assurance services to companies backed by private equity, including establishing Deloitte’s market-leading programme for PE backed businesses. She has considerable experience of working closely with management teams and their private equity owners throughout the investment cycle and has worked on numerous successful exits.

Emma has a BA in Mathematics from Oxford University and an MBA (distinction) from Manchester Business School. She is a keen sailor and watersports enthusiast and leads a busy family life with three children and a dog.
