Fernando Antunes is a Full Professor at Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa since September 2006, where responsibilities include management roles and serving on the Advisory Board for innovation and entrepreneurship. Antunes has experience teaching Biochemistry Regulation courses at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels, and has been involved in biomedical research relating to reactive oxygen species. Additionally, Antunes is a member of the Observatory SME Expert Group at the EUIPO and holds the position of CTO and Co-Founder at Delox, a spin-off company specializing in bio-decontamination technology. Previous roles include working as a technologist for Building Global Innovators and the COHiTEC Program, as well as visiting researcher positions at Matsuyama University and Linköping University. Antunes completed a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Lisbon, where earlier studies culminated in a Bachelor's Degree in the same field.
