Winz Casagrande

Winz Casagrande has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 1995, Casagrande worked as a Liaison Director at Zeidler Roberts Architects. In 1996, they transitioned to EY as the National Director of Real Estate and Financial Institutions Advisory. At EY, Casagrande was responsible for maximizing the value of real estate portfolios during a recession.

In 2002, Casagrande joined RBC-Dexia as the Global Head of Market and Product Strategy until 2007. After that, they became the Chair of the Advisory Board at RESCo Energy Inc, a renewable energy start-up. Casagrande oversaw the company's growth from incorporation to the sale of a $30-million-revenue operation.

From 2008 to 2015, Casagrande worked at Sustainalytics in the Governance department. In 2011, they also served as the Chair of the Supervisory Board at ResCo Lease.

In 2015, Casagrande joined Park Lawn Corporation as a Director, a role they held until 2019.

Lastly, in 2016, Casagrande became the CEO and Chair of Delphi Diagnostics Inc.

Winz Casagrande's education history includes obtaining a doctoral degree in governance, specifically Dr. Jur., from the University of Hannover Germany/U of T. This degree was completed during an unspecified time period, but it is known that they finished their studies in 1995. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Architecture at Columbia University from 1988 to 1989.
