Marcos Icaza

Marcos Icaza is an experienced software engineer with expertise in full stack web development and a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and database management. Currently employed at Delta Air Lines since August 2018, Marcos has taken on roles as a lead programmer and U/X designer, specializing in REST services, Oracle queries, and AWS serverless applications. Previous experience includes contracting with Delta Air Lines Global Services, LLC, where responsibilities encompassed Java REST API development and software automation. Earlier roles featured backend development using JavaScript and XQuery at the LDS Church Office, as well as a tutoring position at Brigham Young University Hawaii, where support was provided for computer science students. Marcos holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University–Hawaii.
