Rick Ellis has a comprehensive work experience in the banking sector. Rick currently holds the position of Managing Director - Commercial Lending at Delta Community Credit Union since 2014. Prior to that, they worked at United Community Bank as Sr. Vice President - Real Estate Lending from 2005 to 2014, responsible for providing construction financing and managing portfolios of Special Assets and FDIC Loss Share relationships. Before that, they served as Vice President - Construction Lending at Colonial Bank from 2003 to 2005 and as Vice President - Regional Lender at The Bankers Bank from 2002 to 2003. Rick also worked at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta from 1993 to 2002 as a Relationship Manager - Business Development. Rick started their career at Bank South, N.A. as Vice President - Special Assets from 1991 to 1993, and prior to that, they held the position of Assistant Vice President - Commercial Lending / Special Assets at Florida National Bank / First Union National Bank from 1984 to 1991.
Rick Ellis completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Quinnipiac University from 1976 to 1980. Rick went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University of South Florida from 1982 to 1984.
