Michael McGonigle

Michael McGonigle is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in media relations and team management. Currently serving as a Correspondent at the Daily Citizen since January 2020, Michael oversees a team of five reporters and anchors a weekly news update. Previously, as Communications Director at Focus on the Family, responsibilities included media outreach initiatives and daily collaboration with the organization's President & CEO. Additional experience includes roles at Pinkston Group as an Account Executive, where Michael managed client media strategies, and volunteering with the USO to support military families. Michael also held positions in corporate communications at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee and First Hawaiian Bank, and began a career at Bank of America after graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Business and Public Relations from Southern Adventist University.
