Karlo Biglang-awa, RFP®, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Karlo began their career at Megaworld Corporation, where they served as a Senior Auditor, handling expense reimbursements and site visits. Karlo later transitioned into a Business Analysis and Research Officer role, providing market insights and coordinating with brokers.

Karlo then joined PHILGEMS Realty Corp. as a Real Estate Sales & Business Development Executive, contributing to the management and brokerage of properties. Following this, they worked at The Now Finance as the Founder and Podcast Host, delivering independent financial advice through various channels.

In 2017, Karlo became an Executive Financial Advisor at Sun Life Financial, teaching individuals about savings, insurance, and investments. Karlo also took on the role of a Field Manager, recruiting and training Financial Advisors.

Additionally, Karlo has been involved in other financial roles, including Real Estate Salesperson and Business Development Manager at IQI Global, and as a Freelance Columnist for MoneySense and BusinessMirror. Karlo has also contributed to the Registered Financial Planners Institute Philippines as a Trainer and Wealth Management Consultant, providing financial planning training, seminars, and comprehensive financial plans for clients.

Currently, Karlo holds the role of Business Development Lead at Igloo, an insurance technology company. Karlo is responsible for creating training programs, building partnerships, analyzing premium income, strategizing programs, and managing budgets.

Furthermore, Karlo has experience as a Management Consultant at Escala, where they aim to be a thought leader in global business scaling.

Throughout their career, Karlo has consistently demonstrated their expertise in financial planning, business development, real estate, and providing financial education.

Karlo Biglang-awa, RFP®, has a diverse education history. Karlo graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, majoring in Internal Auditing, from Far Eastern University in 2013. In 2019, they attended the Registered Financial Planner Institute Philippines and obtained a degree in Financial Planning with a focus on Financial Management, Retirement Planning, Investments, and Insurance.

Karlo has also completed several online courses to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2020, they completed the "Financial Markets" course from Yale University and the "Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills" course from the University of Michigan. Karlo also completed an online course on "Corporate Strategy" from the University of London in 2023.

Furthermore, Karlo has obtained various certifications to further their professional development. In 2019, they became a Registered Financial Planner (RFP) through the Registered Financial Planners Institute Philippines. Karlo also obtained certifications such as "Management Development Program" from Sun Life in 2022 and "Asking Great Sales Questions" from LinkedIn in 2021.

Additionally, Karlo has obtained certifications in areas of personal finance and entrepreneurship, including "Managing the Company of the Future" from Coursera and "Money For Life Financial Planning" from Sun Life in 2022. Karlo also completed courses on "Private Equity and Venture Capital" and "Personal and Family Financial Planning" from Coursera in the same year.
