Jim Barker

Jim Barker began their work experience in 1995 at KPMG, where they served as a Senior Manager until 2003. Jim then joined Delta Dental of Virginia as the Chief Financial Officer in 2003. In this role, they played a significant role in capital management, regulatory reporting, and evaluating new ventures. Jim oversaw the development of an organization consisting of both for-profit and non-profit international entities, with investments ranging from start-up software development to biotechnology and insurance services.

Jim Barker holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech. Jim also obtained a Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the same institution. In addition, they are a Certified Public Accountant accredited by the Virginia Board of Accountancy.
