Scott Parsons has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Scott started their career with the US Army as a Platoon Sergeant in an Aviation Company, where they held multiple positions and worked with CH47 Chinook Helicopters. Following their military service, Scott worked in various roles in the aircraft maintenance field at Delta Air Lines, including MRO Program Manager, Senior Maintenance Program Manager, and Site Manager for stored assets in Marana, Arizona. Scott also managed the MD90 China Air Acquisitions project at the AAR facility in Miami. In addition to their aviation career, Scott owned and operated a Police Escort Company in the Metro Atlanta area. Currently, they are a Senior Program Manager at Delta Material Services, overseeing the Aircraft and Engine parts harvest program for Delta Air Lines.
Scott Parsons completed their education in the field of aviation with a focus on aircraft maintenance. Scott obtained several certificates from All DAL Aircraft Initial Schools between 1989 and 2002. In 1991, they pursued a certificate in Avionics, completing 750 hours of coursework. In 1988, they attended an A&P School, earning an A&P degree in aviation. During the same period, they also attended college but did not earn a degree, focusing on technical writing in the context of aviation.
