Aamir Abbasi has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Aamir began their career as an RF Engineer at ShowAmerica Inc. in 1985 before joining Motorola Mobility in 1989. At Motorola, Aamir played an integral role in the development of analog and digital cellular handsets and car mobiles, contributing to the evolution of GSM 2G into 3G/EDGE handheld subscriber products. In 2007, they joined Delta Mobile Systems Inc. as a Sr. Member of Technical Staff, where they were responsible for wireless systems, RF hardware, antenna design, and provided design services and integration support to various customers and products. Aamir then joined Knowles Electronics LLC in 2015, where they served as the Director of MEMS Microphone Electro-Acoustic and RF Integration. In this role, they led multi-disciplinary teams and supported the development and integration of electro-acoustic, packaging, and RF immunity for large volume consumer applications. Aamir Abbasi is currently the Director of Product Development, RF Systems and Collision Avoidance RADAR at Delta Mobile Systems, a position they have held since 2016.
Aamir Abbasi attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 1980 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, they obtained an Extra Class Radio Amateur License from the Federal Communications Commission in 1984.
