Zining Tan

Zining Tan is a Statistical Analyst at DeltaMed Solutions, Inc. since September 2023, previously serving as a Data Analytics Intern at the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs from May 2022 to August 2022. During the internship, Zining performed text mining on survey data using R, developed a PDF text keyword scraping program in Python, and automated dynamic reports with SQL, enhancing team efficiency. Earlier experiences include roles as a Research Assistant at Northeastern DATA Initiative and Tsinghua University, and a Product Intern at Solve Education!, where Zining built dashboards and conducted A/B testing. In addition, a Data Analyst Intern position at Thermo Fisher Scientific involved quality assurance of databases and analytics using SQL and Excel. Zining holds a Master’s degree in Business Analysis from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
