Akhil Piplani

Akhil Piplani is an experienced software engineering manager currently leading DevOps and software development for the D-HYDRO software at Deltares since 2020. Previously, Akhil served as a project manager at ABB E-mobility, where responsibilities included leading multidisciplinary teams for electric vehicle charger engineering and certifying the charging platform for the Japanese market. At Lely Industries NV, Akhil held dual roles as project manager and software engineer, contributing to automated solutions in dairy farming and enhancing software reliability for milking robots. Akhil's career began at ISISPACE Group as an engineering manager and embedded systems engineer, focusing on high-reliability software for small satellites. Akhil holds a Master of Science in Embedded Systems from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics & Communication from Jaypee University of Information Technology.
