Arthur Baart

Arthur Baart possesses extensive experience in geotechnical and flood defense software, currently serving as Product Manager and Head of Department at Deltares since 1995. Baart has led significant projects, including the Next Generation Hydro Software program, which consolidates and upgrades five leading hydrodynamic software tools. Previous roles at Deltares include Project Manager and Researcher, with expertise in water quality and software development. Prior to Deltares, Baart worked as a researcher at TNO in the Department of Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics from 1989 to 1995. Baart holds a Drs. degree in chemistry from Leiden University and has a background from Erasmiaans Gymnasium and Margriet R'dam.
