Reinder Brolsma is an accomplished researcher specializing in urban climate adaptation and sustainable urban water management. Currently serving as a researcher at Climate Resilient City, associated with Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences since February 2023, Brolsma has extensive experience at Deltares since August 2009, focusing on sustainable urban water management. Brolsma's academic background includes a PhD from Universiteit Utrecht, exploring the effects of climate change on temperate forest ecosystems from 2003 to 2010. Prior consultancy roles include Nelen & Schuurmans in water management and Royal Haskoning in geo-data specialization. Brolsma holds a Master's degree in Physical Geography from the University of Amsterdam, completed in 2002, and completed VWO at Noord-Kennemerland from 1989 to 1996.
