Arun Devaraj

Arun Devaraj has over 17 years of experience in the field of software engineering and architecture. Arun started their career at Hewlett-Packard in 2001, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer. During their time at Hewlett-Packard, they focused on data analysis and software development, particularly in relation to synchronizing marketing data warehouses and resolving data issues in ETL tasks. Arun then joined Aditi Technologies in 2005 as a Technical Architect, where they worked on data normalization and standardization using fuzzy matching techniques, as well as building a reporting infrastructure for business users. In 2012, Arun joined Onvia as a Principal Software Engineer/Architect, where they led various big data, search, and analytics projects. Arun was familiar with technologies such as Hive, Spark, Storm, and Kafka, and played a key role in consolidating various data sources into a single warehouse. Finally, in 2018, Arun joined Deltek as a Sr Principal Software Architect and Team Leader.

Arun Devaraj holds a Master of Science degree in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Arun also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical & Electronics from Coimbatore Institute of Technology. In addition to their education, they have obtained several certifications in Amazon Web Services, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, and AWS Certified Developer - Associate.
