Steve LLamb has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steve has held various leadership roles in organizations such as SMPTE, ISDCF, ISO, and the European Digital Cinema Forum. At SMPTE, Steve has served as the Liaisons Committee Chair and Technical Committee Chair for both TC 27C (Cinema) and TC 21DC (Digital Cinema). Steve has also been involved in document maintenance and served as the Technical Committee Secretary for TC 21DC. At ISDCF, they held the position of Board Vice President. Additionally, Steve has been a Technical Committee Working Group Convenor at ISO and a Board Member at the European Digital Cinema Forum.

Prior to their involvement in standards organizations, Steve worked at Deluxe, where they held leadership positions such as VP of Technology Standards and Solutions and Director of Mastering Technology and Development. In these roles, they managed global projects and participated in industry committees and meetings. Steve was also responsible for managing proprietary tools and rolling out new technologies globally.

Before joining Deluxe, Steve was the Owner of LLux Operon, where they worked as a photographer and visual artist. Steve also gained experience in digital cinema production and management at Technicolor Digital Cinema, where they served as a Production Manager and Compressionist.

Early in their career, Steve worked as an Editor and Web Designer at Dragoncor/Earthdraggon Productions and as a Creative Director at Vibex Inc. Steve also taught web design and graphics at Integrated Digital Technologies.

Overall, Steve LLamb has a strong background in the cinema and media industry, with extensive experience in standards development, technology management, and creative roles.

Steve LLamb attended The Art Institute of California-Los Angeles from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Animation. In addition to their formal education, Steve went on to obtain several certifications. These include Duolingo Japanese Fluency: Beginning (Estimated) from Duolingo in July 2019, Duolingo Hungarian Fluency: Medium (Estimated) from Duolingo in June 2019, Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance in March 2016, and Duolingo German Fluency: Advanced (Estimated) from Duolingo in August 2015.
