Jenny (Yu-Tseng) Chou has worked for a variety of companies since 2009. In 2009, they were a Research Lab Volunteer at Scott Simon Lab, where they experienced with sterile technique, cell culture, and flow chambers. In 2010, they were a Research Lab Volunteer at Biosensor Lab, where they researched background information for Aspergillus niger Catalase and other similar catalase, performed energy minimization for the molecular structure of Aspergillus niger Catalase using Amber 9, and analyzed the molecular structure and thermostability of Aspergillus niger using VMD. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Software Developer at HealthLine Systems, Inc., where they developed web applications using C#, ASP. NET, JavaScript, and jQuery to support the needs of healthcare administration and credentialing, and developed web portals for mobile devices to enhance the communication between the medical staffs and hospital management. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Senior Software Developer and Software Developer at Community Health Group, where they implemented features in an existing EDI management tool to enhance the performance and user experience of file processing and for compliance, collaborated with the team to build a website for provider information lookup and correction reporting, conducted meetings/presentations on the file processing design in the EDI management tool to the team, created and designed the CHG Member Portal that allows active members to access insurance related information online, created and designed a Dashboard application that displays statistics from all the departments for upper management to review, and created and designed an internal job assignment/scheduling web application in ASP. In 2017, they were an Intern at Deep Force. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at SDSU - Intelligent Robots and Machines Laboratory, where they researched related papers in human path prediction and robot path planning, and developed algorithms in Bayesian inference for human path predictions and intelligent system algorithms for CoRobot path planning in dynamic environment using MATLAB. Finally, in 2018, they were a Software Developer at Demand Driven Technologies.
Jenny (Yu-Tseng) Chou obtained their high school diploma from Mountain View Academy in 2007. Jenny (Yu-Tseng) then attended De Anza College from 2005 to 2006. In 2004, they attended Taipei First Girls High School. From 2009 to 2011, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from UC San Diego. Jenny (Yu-Tseng) then attended University of California, Davis from 2007 to 2009, where they also earned a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering. In 2015, they obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from San Diego State University. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Mobile Device Programming from University of California, San Diego Extension in September 2015.
