Vijay Ramesh

Vijay Ramesh is the VP of Application Development at Demandbase. Vijay has over five years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer. Vijay has developed a distributed ETL pipeline using Fluentd, AWS DataPipeline, and Hadoop (driven by Cascading on Elastic MapReduce) to drive data from production data-stores in MariaDB/Redis/MongoDB to Redshift, S3, HDFS, and Cassandra. Vijay has also productized fully automated email campaign targeting using AWS Simple Workflow to drive model training, cross-validation and predictive analysis via SVM/SVDD (through libsvm), Logistic Regression (through liblinear), and Random Forests (through scikit-learn).

Vijay Ramesh received a BA in Philosophy (Linguistics) from Kalamazoo College and an International Baccalaureate from Red Cross Nordic United World College.
