Michael Herring

Michael Herring is an experienced utility professional currently serving as the Joint Use Coordinator at DEMCO since January 2019, where responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, contract negotiations, pole permit management, engineering and cost analysis, budgeting, and utility account management. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Entergy from August 2015 to January 2019, including Serviceman and Journeyman Lineman, focusing on power line maintenance, construction, troubleshooting, and storm restoration. Michael's career began at Delta EPA as a Lineman and included experience at Highlines Construction as a C Class Lineman, specializing in the maintenance and construction of overhead transmission lines. Michael holds a Technical degree in Lineman from Holmes Community College, earned over a period from January 2012 to April 2022.
