Gerald Engels

Gerald Engels is a Project Engineer Offshore at DEME Group since January 2023, with experience in mobilization for the Vinyard project in the USA and lifting engineering for the Zhong Neng Offshore Wind Farm in Taiwan. Previously, Gerald served as an Equipment Engineer at Sarens from November 2019 to August 2022, focusing on heavy lifting projects involving jacking systems, weighing, and skidding. Gerald also completed an internship at Punch Powertrain in late 2018, where responsibilities included merging software for dual clutches in a hybrid powertrain. Gerald holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, earned from 2015 to 2019.
