Ilias Apostolou

Ilias Apostolou has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily in quality assurance and validation roles. Ilias started their career in 2014 at DEMO Pharmaceuticals S.A., where they held various positions including Senior Manager of Quality Assurance and Validation Manager. In these roles, Ilias was responsible for validating clean rooms, pharmaceutical aseptic filling machines, and freeze dryers. Ilias also served as a project manager for the installation and validation of a new facility.

Prior to working at DEMO Pharmaceuticals, Ilias worked as a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineer at Apostolou Ilias. In this role, they focused on construction and maintenance of electrical installations and computer networks, as well as installation and maintenance of electrical panels.

Before that, Ilias worked at Rafina port authority SA as a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineer. Ilias'sresponsibilities included supervising and maintaining the sewerage system, overseeing the construction of a resting area, and reconstructing the water supply system at the port.

Throughout their career, Ilias Apostolou has demonstrated strong technical skills in validation and quality assurance, as well as expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering.

Ilias Apostolou earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Chalkida between 2005 and 2010. Currently, they are pursuing an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree in Executive Business Administration and Management at the University of Piraeus, with an expected completion date in 2023.
