Rachel Fried

Rachel Fried is a Senior Counsel at Democracy Forward since September 2021, with a strong background in legal practice and education. Previously, Rachel served as a Clinical Teaching Fellow and Staff Attorney at Georgetown University Law Center, and held multiple associate positions at Covington & Burling LLP, specializing in insurance coverage and employee benefits, as well as white collar litigation. Judicial clerkships were completed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont. Rachel's academic credentials include a Master of Laws in Advocacy from Georgetown University Law Center and a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from New York University.
