Rev. Terence Dicks is a dedicated community leader and activist based in Augusta, Georgia, with extensive experience in various organizations. Currently serving on the Democratic Party of Georgia State Committee as a representative for the 12th Congressional District since 2011, Dicks also holds several leadership roles, including Board Member of the Georgia Legal Services Program, where representation of The Edge Connection is noted. As a founder of both the Georgia Center for Children and Education Inc. and the "Claiming A Street Named King" project, Dicks has significantly contributed to non-profit initiatives. Involved with multiple organizations, including the Progressive Democrats of America and the Augusta Progressive Religious Coalition, Dicks' efforts reflect a commitment to civil rights and community justice. Educationally, Dicks graduated from Westside High School in 1980.
