James Pangburn

James Pangburn is a seasoned software architect and manager with extensive experience in the field of embedded systems and software development. Currently serving as a Software Architect at Cadence Design Systems since 2010, James also holds the position of Software Manager at Denali Software since November 2007. Prior experience includes roles as Embedded Tools Architect at Xilinx Corporation, where trade-secret enhancements to the MicroBlaze soft processor were implemented, and Engineering Manager/Staff Engineer at Mentor Graphics Corporation, overseeing the development of new products for the Embedded Systems Division. James's career began at Fermilab as a Real-time Data Acquisition Software Developer, followed by an Assistant to Computing Division Head role at Indiana University Cyclotron Facility. James holds a B.S. in Physics from Indiana University Bloomington, complemented by coursework in computer science.
