James R. has diverse work experience in various industries. James served as the Chief Remote Pilot and Australian Field Operations Manager at Dendra Systems, where they managed logistics, ensured compliance, and executed UAS operations. Prior to this, they worked as a UAS Operator on the Google Wing project at Hover UAV, responsible for pre-flight planning and crew coordination. James also worked as a Survey Assistant at Rogerson & Birch Surveyors, where they gained practical knowledge of surveying practices. Additionally, they had a brief stint as an RPAS Operator conducting shark surveillance operations. James R. also served as the Maintenance Manager at Ski Rider Hotel, overseeing the daily operations and implementing efficiency measures. Before that, they founded Southern Stone Solutions, an independent business specializing in joinery. Overall, James R. brings a wealth of experience in operations management, UAS operations, surveying, maintenance, and entrepreneurship.

James R. began their education by obtaining a Trade Certificate in Stone masonry from Holmesglen from 1998 to 2002. Later, in 2016-2017, they attended Ascent Training and obtained a Certificate III in Rural studies. In terms of additional certifications, James acquired various licenses and certificates such as a Chief Pilot for Dendra Systems from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority in 2021, a RePL multi rotor sub 46kg type rating in 2020, and a RePL Power Lift Sub 25 kg (VTOL) in 2019. Other certifications include AROC (Aeronautical radio operators certificate), RePL Sub 7kg Aeroplane (Fixed wing), RePL multi-rotor sub 25 kg, and a General Construction Induction (white card) obtained in 2017. James also holds a Heavy Vehicle drivers license (HC) from the Queensland Government since 2008, and a Dogman (High risk work license) obtained in 2016.
