Ian Farrell, CPA

Ian Farrell, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Ian is currently employed at DeNova Inc as a Corporate Controller, where they focus on developing sustainable and scalable alternative protein solutions for aquaculture diets. Prior to this, Ian worked at BMO Financial Group as a Credit Analyst in Real Estate Finance. Ian also gained valuable experience at Deloitte, where they held positions as a Senior Associate in Valuation, Litigation, and Forensic Services, as well as an Analyst in Modelling and Value Advisory. Ian's earlier roles include working as a Business Analyst at Nova Scotia Power, Jr. Financial Analyst at Irving Shipbuilding, Supply Chain Intern at Irving Shipbuilding, and Summer Student Painter at Atlantic Towing.

Ian Farrell, CPA pursued their education at various institutions. Ian first attended the University of Antwerp in 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Finance and International Business. Subsequently, from 2015 to 2019, Farrell studied at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, where they completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with Honours. Lastly, in 2019 and 2020, they attended the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) for additional professional development.
