Mher Matevosyan

Mher Matevosyan has five years of work experience in the fields of data science and machine learning. In 2020, they co-founded Denovo Sciences. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology (FAST) as a Data Science Expert, where they created a Reinforcement Learning algorithm which generates new drug-like molecules and did research on many applications of ML algorithms. During the same period, they also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Plat.ai, where they created and deployed ML models using Docker and Django, Flask, fastAPI, created new loan default features based on Neural Networks, created a Neural Network with Pytorch which outputs predictions for all clients, and created an automatic fitting algorithm based on GLMs for individual clients. In 2018, they were also a Research Assistant at American University of Armenia, where they worked on NLP, information extraction from financial documents, LSTM networks with Keras, and a customizable regex solution for information extraction. In 2017, they were an Intern at Monitis, where they did technical analysis and predictive analysis of time series data (ARIMA models), churn analysis with SaaS Metrics, and cohort analysis on customer retention.

Mher Matevosyan received a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics from Yerevan State University in 2016. Mher then went on to pursue two Master's degrees, one in Economics from the American University of Armenia and one in Financial Mathematics from Yerevan State University, which they completed in 2018.
