Chief Network Architect at Dense Air

Michael Ferris has a diverse range of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Michael is currently an Executive Board Member and Co-leader of the Neutral Host workstream at the Small Cell Forum, where they help set priorities, develop policies, and champion initiatives related to small cells and shared network models. Michael is also the Chief Network Architect at Dense Air, responsible for network architecture design.

Prior to their current roles, Michael worked as a Senior Architect at Colt Technology Services, leading the development of mobile connectivity solutions. Michael was involved in research, industry engagement, product development, and pre-sales support. Michael also served as a Senior Product Manager at BT Wholesale, leading the product evolution for mobile backhaul in preparation for 5G rollout.

Earlier in their career, Michael held various positions at EE, Tellabs, Orange UK, and Orange PCS Ltd. Michael played a key role in designing and deploying mobile backhaul infrastructure, leading the introduction of new technologies, and managing network design and delivery.
