Alexandra Boone

Alexandra Boone currently serves as a Creative Coach at Dent Education, where responsibilities include teaching podcasting, graphic design, and social entrepreneurship courses, along with developing a College and Career Pathways curriculum to support high school students. In addition to this role, Alexandra is a Near-Peer Mentor at Morgan State University, guiding undergraduate STEM students and collaborating with faculty on research support. Alexandra is also a second-year graduate student in Higher Education Student Affairs, focusing on the transition of Black girls and K-12 urban students into higher education, with an expected graduation in December 2023. Previously, Alexandra worked as a middle school science teacher in Baltimore City Public Schools, a Presidential Intern at Norfolk State University, a Research Associate at the University of Maryland College Park, and held internship positions at the National Institute of Health and Children’s National Medical Center. Alexandra holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Norfolk State University.
