Derrick Knighton

Derrick Knighton has worked in various roles in the technology and finance industries. Derrick began their career in 2012 as a Supply Chain Specialist at Goldenwest Credit Union, where they organized and maintained the flow of office supplies as well as legal documents for the entire credit union. In 2013, they took on the role of Account Development Representative at AdRoll, where they were responsible for driving revenue growth through phone-based consultative sales, making a high volume of outbound sales calls and emails to potential prospects, and attending industry conferences to identify new prospects. In 2014, they joined Dental Select as Director of IT, IT Manager, Systems Administrator, and Help Desk Specialist, where they were responsible for providing internal customer support, quickly diagnosing and understanding technical issues and resolutions, and managing customer service desk applications. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Spencer Stephens Construction LLC as Chief Operations Officer and Director of Technical Operations.

Derrick Knighton obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems and Technology from Weber State University between 2010 and 2015. Derrick then went on to complete a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University between 2016 and 2018.
