Paul Cristina

Paul Cristina, P.E. currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Denton County Transportation Authority, having previously held roles as Interim Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer since November 2021. Prior to this, Paul Cristina spent over eight years at BNSF Railway, where positions included Director of Public Projects & Systems Design, focusing on enhancing safety and efficiency at numerous roadway crossings across a vast rail network. Earlier experience includes leadership roles in public-private partnerships and aviation practices at Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., along with serving as a Civil Engineer Officer in various capacities within the US Air Force. Paul Cristina holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and an MBA from Florida State University Panama City.
